Questions, answered
Can I create a vendor while entering an expense?
Yes. In the transaction drawer, choose Create vendor to add one without leaving the workflow.
Does the summary support custom date ranges?
Yes. The default view uses a recent range, and you can pick a custom date window.
Can I restore deleted vendors?
Yes. Use the recycle bin view to restore soft-deleted vendors.
Who can hard-delete vendors?
Owners and admins can hard-delete from the recycle bin. Everyone else can soft-delete.
What fields do vendors include?
Vendors support email, office phone (with extension), a primary contact, business address, and notes. Map location is no longer a required or primary part of routine vendor setup.
Can vendors be linked to transactions?
Yes. Expense transactions can be associated with a vendor for cleaner reporting.
Ready to keep vendor spend organized?
Build the directory once, then tag every expense with the right vendor.
